Statement from the Board of Directors, 50 Mile March Foundation

The Board of Directors of the 50 Mile March Foundation announces that Executive Director Brianne Schuler will be stepping down from her role following the completion of Operation Freedom Path.

On behalf of the Board, we extend our sincere gratitude to Brianne for her leadership, dedication, and the lasting impact she has made on the organization. Under her direction, the 50 Mile March has grown from a single event into a recognized and purpose-driven movement—expanding its reach, strengthening its community, and advancing its mission to support veterans facing mental health challenges and homelessness.

Brianne’s contributions have helped establish a strong operational and strategic foundation, positioning the organization for continued growth and long-term success. We are thankful for her commitment to the mission and the countless lives impacted during her tenure.

The Board is actively engaged in a thoughtful leadership transition process and will ensure continuity in operations and momentum in execution. We remain fully confident in the strength of the organization, the clarity of its mission, and the opportunities ahead.

As we look to the future, the 50 Mile March Foundation is well-positioned to build on this progress—expanding its impact, deepening partnerships, and continuing to serve those who have served our nation.

We thank Brianne for her leadership and wish her continued success in her next chapter.
